Melbourne is a beautiful place, and whilst we have put in place a number of policies in order to ensure that the event runs smoothly, we cannot control one important aspect - the weather!

The weather will not stop the parade, short of a biblical flood.

Over the last 10 years, we have only had a few really wet parades. As everyone is also aware, there is no designated wet weather uniform items available from The Scouts Shop Online.

Our preference is for a navy jacket (TSSO do have a Scouts Australia polar fleece) or a blue/clear plastic poncho. A suitable plastic poncho can be found at any camping store, Reject shop or $2 style shop and is a handy item to have within your camping kit. If your group has a jacket or top which incorporates the Scouts logo, this is acceptible for the day.
